Seeing the fire is incredibly pleasant! Plus, it's a lot easier to know when you need to stir the fire. Another reward is the natural light inside your camping tent. That stated, glass panels add extra weight to your range & there is the possibility of them breaking. This is the stove that I presently utilize while backpacking.
